The 2015 LAZ Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon marks the second vintage under the guidance of winemaker Celia Welch. While Kerrin will be the first to tell you that the debut 2014 was special, she and Celia both agree that the 2015 LAZ is in a different league. Mother Nature was generous to Napa Valley and Celia’s focus in the vineyards and precision in the winery has made for an even more impressive second vintage.

Bright, lifted aromas of fresh blueberry, black cherries and dark red fruit dominate the aromas, while secondary notes of cinnamon, baking spice and granite provide depth and complexity. On the palate, the entry is broad and full, with a consistent sense of density throughout the mouthfeel. The long finish offers a texture of lush, silky tannins that will provide the ability to age this wine for the next 12-15 years.
